My Card -
Paper from my old stash, lace from the second hand shop (nice and cheap),
and the stamps and card stock from Stampin' up.
I water coloured the frogs with my stampin' write markers,
and tried to make them look like they were in water.
Hmmm... I'm not convinced that I was successful, but I had fun trying.
What a great way to spend a Monday afternoon. |
oooh this is fun! I love that patterned paper. And your watercolouring looks good :) Did you manage to get your hands on the Canson watercolour paper?
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us again this week :)
Hi Jess, no luck finding the paper as yet, still looking. Thanks for the lovely comments.
DeleteWhat a great card Jill. I love that you found a use for the fabulous lace from the 2nd hand shop. I too love searching for bits and bob's and have found some funky little embellishments lately at my local op shop. Oh, and those frogs are so sweet, great water colouring. I am glad you chose to join us again at Feeling Sketchy.

Hi Michelle,It's great fun having a weekly sketch, keeps me motivated to craft while I'm working.I usually hit the craft in my holidays, but I have set a goal this year of doing the "feeling sketchy" sketch and the monthly sketch at the Stamp spot for 2012, so keep the great sketches comming and thanks .
DeleteHi Jill, Your card is very cute! Love frogs, we found a few in the strawberry garden over summer, the girls loved it and got excited every time we saw another one..
ReplyDeleteI love your water colouring, its a very nice effect and I think they do look like they are sitting in water.
Glad you are keen to join us for all the Feeling Sketchy sketches! If we're ever on the look out for a Guest DT member you're on the top of the list :) See you @ Emma's in May xo
Love those frogs, and great lace and ribbon!
ReplyDeleteGreat take of the sketch, Thanks so much for joining in at Feeling Sketchy.
